Philip

A practical man who kept bringing people to come and see.

The story

1. Found and finding John 1:43-46

   Jesus finds Philip, and Philip finds Nathanael and answers his doubt with “Come and see.”

2. Counting loaves John 6:5-7

   Jesus asks him where to buy bread to test him. Philip says two hundred denarii would not be enough.

3. Greeks come to him John 12:20-22

   Some Greeks ask Philip to see Jesus. He goes to Andrew, and together they tell Jesus.

4. Show us the Father John 14:8-9

   On the last night he asks to see the Father. Jesus says, you have seen me.

5. Waiting and praying Acts 1:13-14

   After the resurrection he is named in the upper room, praying with the others.
