Joseph of Nazareth

A just, quiet carpenter who never says a word in Scripture, and obeyed every time God spoke.

The story

1. A quiet decision Matt 1:18-19

   Mary is pregnant. He resolves to divorce her quietly.

2. Do not fear Matt 1:20-25

   An angel speaks in a dream. He takes Mary as his wife.

3. No room Luke 2:4-7

   He takes Mary to Bethlehem, where Jesus is born.

4. Flight by night Matt 2:13-15

   Warned in a dream, he takes the child and his mother to Egypt.

5. Home to Nazareth Matt 2:19-23

   He brings them back and settles in Galilee.

6. Searching Luke 2:41-51

   He and Mary search three days for the boy and find him in the temple.
