Nicodemus

A teacher of Israel who came by night with questions and was there at the burial.

The story

1. Comes by night John 3:1-10

   He comes to Jesus with respect and questions. Jesus tells him he must be born again, and he asks how this can be.

2. Speaks up in council John 7:45-52

   He asks whether their law judges a man without hearing him. The others ask if he is from Galilee too.

3. Buries Jesus John 19:38-42

   With Joseph of Arimathea he wraps Jesus' body in linen with a large amount of spices and lays it in a new tomb.
