Lot

A man who chose the good land near Sodom, and had to be dragged out by the hand.

The story

1. Leaving with Abram Gen 12:4-5

   He goes with his uncle from Haran into Canaan.

2. He chose the plain Gen 13:5-13

   Given first pick, he chooses the well-watered land and moves toward Sodom.

3. Captured and rescued Gen 14:12-16

   Taken in war; Abraham rescues him.

4. He lingered Gen 19:1-26

   Angels pull him out of Sodom by the hand. His wife looks back.

5. In a cave Gen 19:30-38

   Afraid, he lives in a cave with his daughters, who get him drunk.
